November. The FALL is in full bloom. November has MANY events leading up to the Holiday season. Here are some, just to name a few. We start the month with Election Day on Nov. 3rd so get out the VOTE and don't delay. Vote for someone who will bring PEACE to the United States as well as healing both mentally and physically from this on-going pandemic. Then right after Election Day we have an event that few may know about which is the birthday of the United States Marine Corps on Nov 10th. The next is Veteran's Day on Nov 11th where we honor those who have served and sacrificed to keep and protect our freedom. This is a special day for us here at Robin's Dockside Shop because we are ALL veterans of military service.

One important event that many may not remember is that also November 11, 1620 is the day that the
Mayflower finally anchored at what is now Provincetown Harbor, Cape Cod, Massachusetts thus arriving just in time for Thanksgiving and the founding of our nation. That event is depicted above in a painting by artist Jean Louis Gerome Ferris that we used by permission for our header. That event was certainly one of the most important maritime events in history. Then finally we come to Thanksgiving. One of our most celebrated holidays. Everyone gathers with family and close friends to eat at an overloaded table and gives thanks to God for our shared abundance and to remember who we are and where we all came from.

In keeping with the season we have a some of our table items highlighted from our Home for the Holidays collection. PLUS, to save you some money we have our traditional 20% Off every item in our store. Our brass candle holders as well as three of our brass serving pieces to enhance your holiday table.
