Excellent reproduction of ship's steering wheel used for centuries on sailing and motor vessels to this very day. Made from a fine Rosewood with a solid brass inlaid ring which is very hard and weather resistant.
Has a brass hub with a 1/2" key slot just like the real ones BUT cannot be used to steer a boat or ship. This wheel is decorative ONLY and cannot be used to steer a boat or ship. They are NOT strong enough for that.
Great for wall hanging or to use as a table top. They enhance any nautical decor at home or office. Measures 24" from handle to handle.
