Another Robin’s Dockside Shop creation. Our period reproduction Solid Copper Look-Out Lantern made into a handsome table lamp on a solid Mahogany wood base. Fully electric with an old fashioned twist.

The 3-position socket allows the Look-Out Lantern to be turned on alone or just the top main bulb to be turned on or both can be on at the same time. A very versatile table lamp not available anywhere else that will be great for any place in the house or aboard ship or boat.

The Copper Look-Out Lantern is styled after lanterns used aboard sailing ships for hundreds of years. Some are still in use today aboard sailing ships. Hand machined in heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. The Fresnel lens is made to magnify the light to be seen for many nautical miles at sea.

The Look-Out Lamp is named for it’s use. A 270 degree while light has many uses. A stern (back) light, a wall light inside of a cabin, a light to look out from the boat or ship like a modern day flashlight. Sometimes used as a 2nd mast-head light on the Mizzenmast to warn other vessels.

A great table lamp for boat, yacht, cabin, den, or nautical décor anywhere in the house. A great nightlight or TV light with only the bottom Anchor Lantern lighted. The lamp is shipped with a 25w candelabra base light bulb included.

All of our nautical lantern table lamps were designed by us at Robin's Dockside Shop and are made in our own shop outside of Baltimore Maryland. We use only UL approved electrical parts and locally sourced wood and other pieces. The only imported pieces are the brass and copper nautical lanterns. They are all imported from India.

The end result is a carefully constructed and well made tale lamp that will last almost forever. The only care that one may want to do is polish the brass or copper lamp once a year, unless one wants it to patina and have an antique look.

Approx. Size: 26” Tall with the larger shade. Base is 8” wide x 9” long. The Copper Look-Out Lamp is 12" tall with the (bale) handle down.
