By far the most popular lantern in our inventory is now available in a VERY high quality version.

This model anchor lamp is hand-machined in the Netherlands by some very skilled artisans of pure heavy-gauge copper and brass. The Fresnel-style lens is also very heavy glass made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for many nautical miles.

NOTE: The glass is CLEAR, NOT green

The anchor lamp is named for its use. A 360o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point

( the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or underway at night. These oil-burning lanterns were made to be lit and hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied to the handle and 2 ropes through the brass guides.

Since we strongly suggest that you not burn oil in it we have installed a battery-operated LED Tap Light.

You can use it right out of the box.
