The bulkhead lamps were born out of a necessity to provide light for hallways and passageways in all boats and ships since the early days of electric lighting where a normal unprotected wall lamp would not be practical or safe. They had to be protected from being banged into as well as watertight.
Our Classic Oceanic Bulkhead lamp can be easily mounted on a wall or bulkhead with minimum effort. All electrical parts are UL approved and can accommodate a 60-100 watt 110v light bulb.
