Distressed White painted steel with glass Fresnel lens.
Hand machined heavy gauge steel lamp with factory installed
electric light kit. The Fresnel style lens
is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible
for many nautical miles.
When used as a Channel
marker a RED or GREEN light would be installed which mark
the safe area to sail in.
When used on a ship or dock pylon a white light a 360o white light is required to be
displayed at the highest point on
all vessels at anchor or under way at night.
Our lamp ships with a standard socket tear-drop shaped 25
watt bulb.
Measures 14" tall
with the handle down.
